Acceptable use for free concepts
Version: 2026-10-06
When you tick “Build me a free clickable concept” on our Start a project form, we design a themed, clickable concept of your idea. These rules keep that service useful for you and safe for everyone else. They apply to every free concept, and ticking the box means you accept them.
1. What a concept is
A concept is a clickable set of screens that shows how your idea could look and feel. It uses sample data only. It is not working software, it does not connect to real systems, and it carries a “Prototype by We Are Monad” banner. Please do not enter real personal or business data into it.
2. What we will not build
We will not build, and you must not ask for, a concept that:
- Needs real personal, financial or confidential data. Please do not put any in your brief.
- Impersonates another company, brand, bank, government body or person, or reuses their name, logo or look to mislead.
- Includes a login, sign-in, credential, password or payment capture page, or anything that collects information from the people who view it.
- Contains illegal content, or adult, gambling, weapons or hateful content.
- Makes regulated medical or legal claims, such as diagnosing a condition or giving legal advice.
- Is aimed at scraping, attacking or deceiving a third party, or at getting round the limits we set on this service.
3. Our right to refuse or take down
We can decline any request without giving a reason, and we can remove any concept at any time if we think it breaks these rules or puts anyone at risk. Declining a concept does not stop us replying to your project enquiry in the usual way.
4. How long a concept lasts
A concept expires after 30 days and is then deleted. If you want it gone sooner, write to us and we will delete it straight away. Our privacy policy explains what we do with your brief.
5. The code
A concept is a demonstration, not a delivery. We do not hand over the code for a free concept. It becomes part of the work if you start a paid discovery phase with us, and we will agree what you receive then.
6. Reporting abuse
If you see a concept that breaks these rules, or one that impersonates you, tell us at abuse@wearemonad.com. We will look at it promptly and take it down if needed.
7. Changes
We may update these rules. The version above shows which ones you accepted when you ticked the box.
