Cloud that stays fast, stays up, and stops surprising you with the bill

We Are Monad is a London cloud and DevOps team, part of our wider software services. Migration, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring and cost review, run by senior engineers who carry a pager for what they build. Scoped honestly, priced per phase, and the first call is free.

See how a project runs

Most cloud bills grow quietly until somebody notices

A bill that climbs every month for reasons nobody can explain. A server that one person understands and everybody else is afraid to touch. Deploys that need a quiet Friday and a brave volunteer. Backups nobody has ever actually restored. None of that is inevitable, and it is rarely about the provider you chose. If the product itself is what needs rebuilding, that is a job for our custom software team, not a migration.

What we build

Six ways to make your infrastructure boring, in the good sense of the word.

Cloud migration

Moved in steps, not in one weekend cutover, with a way back at every step if something does not go to plan. You know what is moving and when, well before it happens.

Infrastructure as code

Your environment described in a repository, not in somebody's memory. Reproducible, reviewable in a pull request, and safe to change without holding your breath.

Serverless and managed platforms

Less to run, and less to pay for when nothing is happening. We use Vercel, serverless functions and managed Postgres where they fit, and a server where they do not.

CI/CD and release pipelines

A deploy that is boring and takes minutes, built on GitHub Actions, with the tests that catch a bad release before your customers do.

See how we test before every release

Monitoring, alerting and backups

You find out before your customers do, and the restore has actually been tested, not just configured and forgotten about.

Cost review and rightsizing

We find what you are paying for and no longer use, and what is sized for traffic you do not have, then bring the bill down to what the product actually needs.

Why teams pick us for cloud work

Plenty of agencies can stand up a server. Fewer will still be answering the phone when it falls over at 2am, because fewer actually run what they build.

We run what we build, in production

We have shipped and supported production software for Carlsberg Group and for Hubpay, a regulated fintech moving real money. The advice comes from having been responsible when something breaks at nine on a Monday, not from a diagram.

You are never locked to us

You own the cloud accounts, the code and the infrastructure definitions from day one. If you want to move to another team, or bring it in-house, everything you need is already yours.

Cost is a design constraint, not an afterthought

We size for the traffic you actually have and design the bill in from the first architecture decision, not as a review six months after it has already grown.

Boring on purpose

Documented and handed over, so the next person, including future you, can understand it without a call to us. Reliable infrastructure is rarely exciting, and that is the point.

How a cloud project runs with us

Small steps, a way back at every one, and nothing moves until you have seen the plan.

  1. Week 1

    Audit

We map what you have, what it costs, what depends on what, and where the real risk sits, so the plan is based on your system rather than a generic checklist.

  2. Week 2

    Plan the move

A migration plan broken into steps small enough to reverse, with the order agreed up front, and the parts we will leave alone because they are already fine.

  3. Weeks 3 to 6

    Migrate in steps

Each step ships, gets checked against the last one, and stays reversible until we are confident it is not needed. Nothing moves all at once.

  4. Ongoing

    Run and tune

We stay on to monitor, tune and rightsize as real traffic tells us more than the plan could, and hand over documentation as we go.

Frequently asked questions

It depends on what you are running and where it is now. We scope after a short discovery and give you a fixed price per phase, not an open-ended bill. Migrating alone does not guarantee savings: the bill usually falls when we also rightsize what was oversized and remove what nobody uses, which is why cost review is part of the plan, not an afterthought. The first call is free.

Find out what your cloud setup should actually cost

Bring your current bill, or just your worries about it. In one free call we will tell you honestly whether a migration is worth doing yet, roughly what it would cost, and what to fix first.
